8/23/2023 0 Comments Age of wonders planetfall dvarWell, from the start, the Empress killed countless people and broke the Star Union (which, granted, had some MAJOR problems going by what the Paragon and Spacers were in their "prime", plus enslaving the Kir'ko) because she felt CORE had too much control over Human destiny. Perhaps it's just coincidence born of the choices I've made, but. Perhaps I am missing something, but so far CORE and its followers are coming off way better than the Empress. This is something I am rather curious about myself after my first run through the campaign. You will have to decide in the end who you will support, and how you play each faction will determine which "side" they will be on in the end, or even if they will be entirely independent. just people trying to survive while the Empress and CORE continue to create machinations against each other, and attempt to involve the other factions as puppets. That's the basics of this universe AFAICT. This all happened after you left on your sleeper journey, so for 200 years, societies had been slowly going independent, siding with CORE, or siding with the Empress (though most hate her because of what she did to try to stop CORE). The Empress is apparently immortal, and can possess individuals at any time to make them do what she wants. The Empress tried to stop it using (some say) overly drastic measures, which resulted in the cataclysm.ĬORE was not destroyed by that, but the empire was now so torn apart that it didn't have the power it once did. It took over all the computer functions in the old society to the point where it was basically starting to control everything. But if we have a nice Poz that allied with the humans in the first mission, he feels he owes Carminia something for her help in resurrecting the queen.CORE is basically the AI from "Terminator". I feel that rather than leaving up to a dice roll we could make it canon that Gorodin is lying. If it is a trick then he can be compelled by a Carminia controlled queen to serve Carminia, the issue here is whether Gorodin was telling the truth or not we never find out in the kirko campaign whether he was. Poz hates humans and he hates the Star Union, both CORE and Carminia are the Star Union he despises. If it is not a trick, Poz's kirko are not going to support Carminia. The issue here is not who the Ressurectionists work for but whether the resurrection of the queen 'compels' the kirko to serve Carminia, Gorodin essentially tells us that the queen ressurection is a trick to enslave the kirko Poz either agrees with this in which case destroying the DNA makes sense or does not in which case it makes absolutely no sense to destroy the data at all. ![]() I only know what you can know right on the load screen of that scenario one of the noted problems I find is that it does not give you any pointers as to whom you should be supporting. I have not finished the final scenario yet, I have only got access to it but am playing through the syndicate and assembly missions at the moment I have played the kirko campaign however. No neutral option as far as I can tell.īut can I pick the Dark side option (kill rather then ally that one human) in the 1st Kirko Mission and still do Carminia? Restoring the queen is Carminia, destroying the Data is CORE. My questions are regarding Kir'Ko, Amazons and their Carminia route:Īmazons: Do I need to go Xenoplague in the first mission? If so, will I need the Hero that is Xenoplague alive? What is the path (if any) to Carminia? ![]() You can pick the Original Allies (CORE) or L0G3N-1 (Neutral), with no known Carminia Route In the 2nd Mission pick the Amazon (Carminia), the Dvar (Core) or neither (Neutral) If you do not ally with the Assembly (CORE), you should get a option to choose Carminia if you go to the shrine. I think Huang is Neutral, "Burn the planet" is Carminia and House Sina would be CORE. According to the devs, it is possible to change who will be on wich "Team" (Core, Carmina, Neither) during the final mission, based on the choices you make in the campaign.
